Olaf Langmack founded transformal GmbH with the statutary purpose of research and development. Why

Following his work in aerospace and academic research, Olaf Langmack's interest in unconventional programming ^[17] found little commercial resonance. Instead he founded and managed a network for compiler generation. Its market was development work on the Y2K problem and the changeover to the euro.
